It Would Be My Pleasure...

...was my reaction to Ms. Gwen O'Looney when she commissioned this piece.  She frequented the myriads of artisans' booths at this year's AthFest Artist Market. She loved the Atlanta print but really wanted to see her own fair city shining bright amid Georgia peaches.  Gwen O'Looney, former mayor and candidate for new mayor of Athens, GA is currently in a run-off for this prestigious office. GOOOO GWEN!

About Towns

Last year, I visited the ISL International Street Festival in Athens, GA, my handy cam in tow, and was so pleased with the welcoming reception. Not only was the imagery stunning, but the participants were very gracious in allowing my shooting. [more on Flickr]

Serious Business.

Here's my setup at AUX, complete with ultra-tough bouncer, Adam, aka Adam-The-Smasher-Sabin. He did a great job of sortin out the riffraff. He gets paid with peppermint candies and the occasional pan of frozen fries. He's my brother, he ain't heavy.
